Zimbabwe
A beautiful and fascinating country, with the magnificent Victoria Falls, large wildlife reserves, great tracts of untamed wilderness and the evocative ruins of Great Zimbabwe, Zimbabwe offers much to inspire the visitor.
Victoria Falls, the main tourist hub of the country, still has a plethora of activities to offer, with a healthy dose of adrenalin for the adventurous.
Having had little demand for Zimbabwe over the last ten years, we are noticing like many of our industry friends, a renewed interest. For the right enquiry, this magnificent country, once our most visited African destination is opening up again and many of the guides and owners who sought work elsewhere in the world are returning.
Zimbabwe had always been renowned for having the best qualified guides in Africa which to us is the key element of any safari experience. It is wonderful that so many of them are now back in their rightful place whether it be walking in Mana Pools or sitting with guests in a hide in Hwange National Park which still has the one of the densest concentrations of wildlife in Africa.
Having spent time recently with one of Zimbabwe’s most respected guides, there is no doubt in our mind, that the game viewing is still at the top of the league.
All itineraries are individually designed, but as a guide, we can arrange ten days in Zimbabwe including flights from £4200/ $6384 per person.
