Why do you love Zomba Plateau?

I love great views and trekking to get them - from the top of the Plateau, it is possible to see Lake Chilwa to the North, Mount Mulanje to the South East and the Shire River to the West. I also love great birdlife which is here in abundance.

What is it?

A great forested plateau rising to 1800m, criss-crossed by streams and dotted with waterfalls and still lakes.

Where is it?

Southern Malawi, within the vast Malosa Complex Forest Reserve.

Who is it right for?

This is the great outdoors – perfect for hikers and birders.
