Publication: Condé Nast Traveller
Date: December 8, 2009
Author: Emma Lundin

An inspiring eco-tourist initiative is available to visit in the Explorer's Camp, situated in the Gorongosa National Park in Mozambique.

The national park, conceived to be the site where the ark from the popular Noah story was left, is available for viewing between May-December. With four tents catering for a total of 8 people, your experience will be of a personal, intimate nature; enabling you to calmly marvel at the safari. Travel is by foot mostly to lower pollution and to see safari species such as elephants, hippos and lions clearly.

Each cazenove+loyd itinerary is tailored to client's individual needs.  To visit the Explorer's camp and the wildlife, please call one of our destination experts on +44(0) 20 7384 2332 or enquire online by email.
