Anyone Seen the Fish?

Jon Holmes travelled with cazenove+loyd to North-East Argentina. North-East Argentina is a beautiful region carrying ample amounts of lakes, lagoons, marshlands and rainforests. What better spot to spend time than in pure tranquil isolation and ultimate adventure? Staying at Estancia Rincon del Socorro; a low-slung 19th centry ranch filled with sofas, dark wood and books. The area's remoteness is merely shown by no mobile phone signal able to be detected. Produce within this quiet retreat is organically grown. Whilst some animals roam around, the distinct silence is prevalent each corner you turn.
The next day, catching piranhas on a lagoon was the objective. Released after caught (being an animal-friendly resort), Jon observe some of our croc-friends next without disturbing them of course! Afterwards, it was the rainforest to see some howler monkeys where Jon negotiated through its leafy, tangly tracks to seek the perfect spot. On the way back, a lemon-hammer bird tending to and cleaning a deer was observed: such a pleasant sight to witness.
Estancia San Alonso had an even more remote a location. With no roads in place, horseback was used to travel from place to place. During Jon's trip, he wore an Argentine cowboy outfit into more distinct wilderness being barked at by capybaras as he passed through wild horses, cattle and deers.
