We'll take you right to the heart of the matter, helping to decorate houses and monasteries with lights in preparation for the celebration, then fly you over the ancient city of Bagan in a private balloon for an aerial view.
November
Rajasthan and Kerala are fabulous any time from November through March but November is a month when India’s two most-visited States should have great weather and distinctly fewer tourists than in high season December/January/February.
Likewise, with limited hotels and its new-found popularity, Burma is at its best in November.

rwanda
a one-off
However many times you have been to the more mainstream safari destinations, Rwanda’s Mountain Gorillas are a real ‘one off’. Rwanda combines well with both Tanzania and Kenya if you want to see the Gorillas but also some more ‘normal’ plains game. Best visited December through March.
namibia
drama at its best
One of the most dramatic landscapes in Africa and totally different from any ‘normal’ safari destination. It is never about large numbers it is all about the landscape and the desert adapted species which are a true revelation. Best from March through November but possible all year round.
The galapagos
a new type of safari
Nowhere else in the world can you get closer to wildlife than in the Galapagos. Every day a different island, approached by tender with a small group of travelling companions and an expert naturalist guide. For the true wildlife enthusiast a week in the Galapagos on a yacht can combine with three or four days in the Amazon in mainland Ecuador. Best visited November through May but possible all year.
