About Mary

Born and raised in the enchanting country of Belize, I am a passionate advocate for sustainable and responsible tourism. Growing up amidst the lush rainforests, vibrant coral reefs and diverse wildlife, I developed a deep appreciation for the delicate balance between travel and environmental conservation. I believe that travel has the power to enrich our lives, broadening our perspectives and connecting us with the world in ways we don’t often think possible. Since working at cazenove+loyd I have revisited countries and explored with fresh eyes – I can’t believe what I missed. Supporting a team who sees every trip as an opportunity to bring some of that magic and wonder to their clients is both rewarding and refreshing.

Greece

I travelled in April, which proved to be a wonderful break from the UK winter weather, as well as offering an indulgent calm before the storm of the main tourist season in Greece. A much-needed break, Greek culture is so warm and welcoming, and I left our idyllic island escape with a bit more pep in my step.

Belize

I am so excited to be heading back home; as a Belizean, it is truly where my heart is. I will be meeting up with old friends and revisiting places I haven’t been since I was a child. In June, the weather in Belize bounces between very dry and pouring rain, but the trade-off is that lots of delicious fruits are in season and it’s also the ideal time for eating lobster and conch. I have a sneaky feeling this trip will end up being one long food tour!
