We are reshaping our service and offering in light of the COVID-19 pandemic in order to put your safety first and respond to how travel will change.
Our first priority is keeping our clients, staff, partners and the communities we work with in our regions informed and, therefore, safe. We are in contact with our friends on the ground daily and have been closely monitoring this continually evolving situation.
When we are all able to, we urge you to start travelling again – not only to experience our amazing destinations for yourself but also to support the small businesses, owner-run properties, guides and individuals who are so dependent on tourism.
While we have, of course, spoken to all of our clients who are booked to travel, if there is anything else you need or would like to know about specific countries or your plans, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
Our experts are currently working on new enquiries and future bookings. They are still very much at the end of the telephone, ready to discuss any future travel plans with you.
For clients who have been unable to travel due to COVID-19 in the last few months, we have had outstanding success at making alternative arrangements and deferring their bookings to a more suitable time in the future – in most cases, at no additional cost. Similarly, in the event of a cancellation, we have actively worked with our suppliers on the ground to recover funds and, to date, have either managed to recover 100% of the funds, or the majority of the funds, with the balance in the form of a credit note.
Looking forward, we are working tirelessly with our partners on the ground in all of our destinations, so that should you not be able to travel due to COVID-19, we can be as flexible as possible and guarantee the option to defer your trip until the end of 2021 at no extra charge or to mitigate any costs associated with the cancellation of your trip, should this be your preference.
With very best wishes, Henrietta Loyd, Christopher Wilmot-Sitwell + the cazenove+loyd team
