About Eleanor

After my post-university travel plans were thwarted by Covid, I joined the travel industry and haven’t looked back. I was fortunate enough to take five trips in trips in 2022, to Berlin, North Macedonia, Morocco, Vietnam and Edinburgh (yes, Scotland counts!). Working in travel has ignited my curiosity and appreciation for lesser-visited locations – I’m always on the hunt for incredible places that are overshadowed by their famous neighbours or for experiences that showcase a popular destination in a new light. Social media is one of the best places to tell these stories and I’m grateful to be part of a team that loves to facilitate once-in-a-lifetime travels.

To say my trip to the Brazilian Amazon was a head spinning whirlwind of new flavours and experiences doesn’t quite capture it. I tasted ingredients I had never imagined existed, learned about the intricacies of the indigenous pride movement and swam in a river I once thought was brimming with flesh eating piranhas, all in the course of a single day.
